This book “Enrique Morente, guitar tab and voice” is the first transcription of his work. Complete transcriptions with song melodies, the accompaniment and the guitar falsetas. The melody line in the score shows all of the notes and the principal melismas (syllabic and melismatic song) with their corresponding lyrics. These transcriptions are also useful for melodic instrumentalists. The guitar is written in both musical notation and tablature, showing the accompaniment and falsetas. In some songs the second guitar is also transcribed. The guitarists shown who have accompanied Morente are Félix de Utrera, Niño Ricardo, Sabicas, Pepe Habichuela, Isidro Sanlúcar and Tomatito. In selecting the following albums from his discography a priority has been made to show both the great master as a performer of traditional styles and also his creative and innovative side.
